WANDER WITH PURPOSE.
Mimi Arnold is a visual artist and garden designer. After receiving her bachelors in Fine Art at UCLA's School of Art and Architecture, her ongoing interest in botanicals and green spaces fully surfaced; thus she merged her artistic background and her love in all that is green and headed into the garden design industry. For over two years, she was been fortunate enough to work for two specialty gardening companies in San Francisco, and has contributed to projects for Google, Restoration Hardware, and Sunset Western. She continued her journey even further north where she landed along the Mendocino coast as the head ornamental & edible gardener for the Inn at Newport Ranch.
Currently, she resides on Block Island, Rhode Island on the East coast. She is excited to announce her latest project, The Farmer Florist; a cut flower farm in which she will grow and arrange flowers seasonally and sustainably.
She maintains an art practice that ranges from layered pieces of mixed media, to simple illustrations and studies, to wearable art. She continues to crave the unfamiliar and makes it a priority to explore and travel, whether it be a day trip into the Redwoods, or a 6 month adventure in her cabover camper, she wanders with purpose.
